Mini 252 is a Finot design that was raced by American sailor Gale Browning in the 2001 Mini Transat. She was built by Albert Bargues, a carbon fibre specialist, living in Barcelona, Spain. Albert raced 252 in the 1999 Mini Transat and took 9th place out of 70 competitors. Albert was also part of the shore crew for the Open 60 PRB, the winning boat for the Vendee Globe in the 2000-01 and 2004-05 races. 252's hull is constructed of fiberglass and foam core. The deck is carbon fiber with a foam core. More info to be posted shortly.
